There is a saying that goes, “destiny may be delayed, but it can never be denied.” It implies that you may live the bigger part of your life away from your destiny but eventually it will get to you. Sometimes people work and strive day and night to reach their destiny yet it amounts to nothing. They sacrifice their entire life looking for it yet their efforts go down the drain. It is ironic that on the other hand, there are other people who keep running away from their destiny. They are always on the move so that it doesn’t catch up with them since their destiny does not look appealing to them. In both situations, one thing is certain, destiny will always catch up with you in the end no matter how far you run away. 

Having a recurring dream that you are being chased by somebody in your dream has a deeper meaning. You may try to find out the face behind the person chasing you to no avail. Are you doing what you love?

Do you feel a call to greatness within you?

If you are working; Do you love your job?

Would you quit your job if you had a choice? 

Are you running away from your true self?

Is your identity still intact?

By answering these questions, you will be in a position to understand your current state in life. When you are honest with yourself, this dream will begin to make sense to you. You will understand why the universe is trying to get your attention. Perhaps you are always running away from your mission in life. You bury yourself in a career that you do not love with the excuse that you are just trying to make a living. Perhaps you are living a life that is not meant to be yours. Your life could be a lie yet you avoid changing it at any cost. Listen to the shrill voice inside you. There you will find all the answers you need to understand that your destiny is nobody’s but yours.
