A Wise Person Takes Good Counsel To Heart But A Fool Despises It.

Today’s tarot card is the High Priestess. Having someone who understands you even without uttering a word is one of the difficult tasks in life. The norm of life is that you will receive praise for the good things you do and get blamed when you are in the wrong. When you get someone who fully understands you, you will understand what being cared for means. This is a good time to rest in the space where you are being understood, nurture those relationships.

The High Priestess card is a card that does not dismiss either element of you, either good or bad. In the card, there is an image of a High Priestess standing between two pillars, black and white, they are labeled B and J which means that you have the strength and you are established in what you are doing. The two pillars also represent the two sides that you have, the dark and the light, your femininity, and masculinity, and it means that you have to embrace who you are in your completeness for you to reach the sacred level of getting higher knowledge. The High Priestess is sitting in a place that is separated by a veil which is decorated with pomegranates. The veil symbolizes the parts of you that are seen and the ones that you have kept from others. You have used the veil to protect yourself from people who do not have good intentions for you. The pomegranates are a source of encouragement, they represent the abundance that surrounds you, and give assurance that in all seasons you will bear fruit that serves a purpose. You have a lot of knowledge and you hold a divine position of leading the others, this is shown by the crown on the High Priestess head and the cross on her chest. The Torah she is holding is a call to look beyond your present condition and be willing to see deeper than the material. This is a period to understand the laws of the universe and why things happen as they do.

Allow To Be Represented.

Attorneys do jobs that no one can else do because they know the ins and outs of the law. An attorney knows what you should say and the things to avoid so that you do not put yourself in deeper problems. Their main responsibility is to provide legal advice to clients and to make sure they are well represented in court. Attorneys take their time to master their skills and they expect you to trust that they will represent you well. So many times, people wish they can have someone who can represent them with genuinely good intentions to protect them. 

You may be feeling tired from having to defend yourself every time. You often feel misunderstood and you have no intention of further clearing your name from circumstances. However, even as your mind tells you this, deep down you know that you would want to be heard and cared for. You are so used to letting your masculine self out because there has always been a constant need to stand up for yourself.  You feel weak when others take care of you and you hardly give people the opportunity to do so. This card encourages you to embrace your divine femininity. That it is okay to be fragile and to accept help. You have people who know who you are and they can see the unseen that you have been keeping from others. You must embrace these attorneys in your life and let them take care of you. These are people who will clear your name in places where people are standing against you. They will advise you when you are on the wrong path and they will always steer you back to your course. Take comfort in the fact that their main intention is to see you doing well and not judge you.

Let Down The Veil.

How often do you allow people to know who you truly are? Hiding your true identity serves the purpose of feeling accepted and being similar to everyone else. An attorney is least interested in what you want to show; he wants to know what truly happens behind closed doors. An attorney conducts research especially when they represent clients that require proof for certain claims and accusations.  An attorney knows what has truly happened but will further go to draft documents that protect their client’s interests.

It is great to know that someone can still stand by you, regardless of who you are. You are filled with knowledge about many things, you are a person who creates impact wherever you go and if given a chance you can be a good leader and give good results. You second guess yourself too much and you have let this character hide you in a shell. You have continued to discourage yourself subconsciously such that it now seems like truth in your mind. To hide who you are, you have lived a life that is unfulfilling because you have not tapped into your purpose which is to be revealed when you show your true identity. You have used this veil to keep yourself from being bashed by people and pain just as it is shown in the card. This is a good time to be an attorney to your own self. Defend your case subconsciously and let it reflect by being alive in your true element. Just as an attorney does not back off when a client is in a bigger mess, those who care for you will also not go when you let your veil go.

When you are vulnerable and when you are strong, you remain to be you and there is nothing that can take what the universe has kept for you, other than the limits you keep for yourself. Be your own High Priestess and let the knowledge you have, serve you.
